PAYMENT METHODS
YourNet
Connection offers several convenient payment options.
Credit Card
When you apply online, you may indicate to pay by
credit card. This is the fastest way to set up an account; you will be approved on-line.
You will be prompted for your credit card information. Your credit card information IS SECURE
because our sign-up process is located on (SSL) Secure Servers.
YourNet Connection accepts Visa,
MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We DO NOT provide receipts for
credit card payments, and we DO NOT refund one-time setup fees.
Should you not wish to disclose credit card information on-line, call our Tech Support Department at 847-524-3910
and give your credit card information to one of our technicians. Your account will then be activated.
Check
To pay by check, select the Bill Me option during sign-up,
and complete the application. You will not receive an initial bill; you are expected
to send in your check. The address is shown during the sign-up process.
We will
invoice you according to your payment plan. A billed account is invoiced
quarterly, and WILL BE converted to a Quarterly Plan
if monthly was originally selected. A $5.00 service fee is added for each
billing period.
To change billing methods, call our Billing Department at 847-524-3900 Monday-Friday
from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, or enter your changes in Member Services on the Members
Only Web Site.
Purchase Order (businesses only)
To activate your business
account by Purchase Order, fax your P.O. to 847-885-3690. Specify the account type, P.O. number, contact person, phone
number, and any other relevant information regarding your business.
After receiving a faxed P.O., we
issue an invoice for services and setup fees unless credit card payment is indicated. Payments are due on or before the due
date.
Fax / Mail Application
Call our Sales Department at 877-YOUR-NET. Ask for an Account Application.
Complete the
application, and fax or mail it back to our office. We will notify you when your
account has been activated.
Please Note
Do not apply more than once. If you want to change your application or think
it was lost, call our Sales Department at 847-524-3900.
MEMBER REFERRALS
Tell your family, friends and
business associates about our service, and to apply for their own accounts.
If a new user submits your name
when signing up, you will receive a check equal to either one month of service, or $25.00,
whichever is less.
Member referrals do not apply to
users who cancel their account within the first thirty (30) days of service.
If you feel you are entitled to a
referral credit you have not received, send an E-mail to: sales@ync.Net.
ACCOUNT ISSUES
Login Names on the system must be
unique. If your Login Name is already in use, select another name for your account.
The best login name is the first initial of your first name, followed by the
next seven characters of your last name.
All account applications must be
submitted/accompanied with a credit card number, a check, or a purchase order.
Acceptable purchase orders must be sent to us on company letterhead with complete billing
and shipping address, a description of the services being purchased, and the Login
Name(s)
of the accounts being purchased, if applicable. This information speeds account
processing time.
SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
YourNet Connection will continue to add modems, phone lines, and
computing capacity to ensure every user is able to make a fast, reliable connection.
We continue to do everything we can
to ensure minimum down time. We are not responsible for conditions beyond our
control (power outage, weather conditions, etc).
From time to time, we schedule
system maintenance. During this time, the system may be down in whole or in part.
To
minimize inconvenience, we schedule maintenance during off-hours (2:00 AM-6:00 AM).
We will E-mail notification of scheduled maintenance in advance. We will also post a
notice on our Message Center located on the Members Only Web Site.

POLICY ON YOUNGER MEMBERS (UNDER 18)
Minors must have written consent of a parent or guardian to use our service.
The parent or guardian is responsible for the
material viewed by their underage child(ren).
Optional Parental Control Software from Cyber Patrol can be downloaded from the Download Center
on the Members Only Web Site. We strongly recommend households with underage
children to use this important product.
YourNet Connection reserves the
right to suspend any user's InterNet access, including the right to terminate a user's
account at any time and without notice, if we suspect that the user has misrepresented his
or her age.
